As an Australian company, we are subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This privacy policy is effective from 1 December 2016. We may modify this policy from time to time by publishing it on our website. We encourage you to check our website periodically to ensure that you are aware of our current privacy policy.
COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We only collect personal information for purposes that are directly related to our business activities, and only when it is necessary for or directly related to such purposes. Generally this is limited to that information necessary to process and send an order for our products to you.
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, postal address, email address and information to enable you to be billed such as credit card details.
We will retain information about your account, including contact details, address details and the status of your orders including billing status.
We may also send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
Please note that in some cases if you do not provide the required personal information we will not be able to provide you with our service.

In the course of conducting our business and providing our products and services to you, we may disclose your personal information.
We only disclose personal information for the purposes for which it was given to us, or for purposes which are directly related to one of our business functions or activities. We do not otherwise give it to anyone else unless one of the following applies:

DISCLOSURE TO OVERSEAS RECIPIENTS
Our online store is hosted on Shopify Inc, which is hosted outside of Australia. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to provide our service to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Shopify is a Canadian based company. More details about them can be obtained from their website (including their terms of service and privacy statement) at www.shopify.com.
Because we use organisations based in Canada and the USA to assist us in providing our service, your personal information will need to be disclosed and stored by those overseas recipients for that purpose. We take steps as are reasonable in the circumstances to ensure that the overseas recipient does not breach the relevant privacy laws in relation to information they may receive.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. As noted above, third-party providers that we use may reside outside of Australia.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, including Shopify Inc, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers (see www.shopify.com, www.rechargepayments.com and www.mailchimp.com).
As previously noted, certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. SECURITY
Our website is hosted by Shopify Inc. Whilst they employ industry standard security measures, you should be aware that there is always an inherent risk in transmitting your personal information via the internet.
For the handling and processing of your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, they follow PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
